Making Blogspot is a too easy task. Anyone with Google ID and above 13 years old age can apply for it and they can build their own Blogspot site with free templates provided on blogger platform without any vast knowledge. But what about content? Following blogging guidelines and AdSense policy, publishing quality and unique blog posts is a too difficult task. Most of the people stay away from creating unique and quality posts. They start to think how to copy from other’s blog and make it appear like real.

Effects on Original Contents
Google lowers the blog ranking and may not index the content. Original contents will be at the risk of losing search engine ranking and Google page rank as well. Their website would lose the traffic. Their AdSense ads would get affected. Finally, original content won’t get credit for their hard work.
Consequences of copying blog posts
If you don’t respect the hard work of original content maker, you won’t get an excuse. The owner of original content will find you by plagiarism test and they get your details very easily. You won’t be hurt physically or financially. Your web host will take strict action against your website, may get banned from a search engine, and will be marked as spam and nontrustworthy among visitors.
If duplicate content is found on your website, Google stops indexing your other blog posts. Your original post to get degraded and will be of no value since Google flagged your website content. You will lose your readers, followers as well as traffic.
Your blog gets penalized by Google Penguin. If you have Adsense showing ads on your blog, then ads won’t be shown. SEO will get affected. The ranking of your sites gets affected. Sometimes if the case is filed the lawsuit (legal action), then you could be penalized financially.
Don’t copy but you can do the following:
You should not copy any kind creations like ‘poem, story, personal post, artwork, programming codes’ presented in the personal blog. Since Blogging is about new articles, write about your experience and your experiment. Sometimes, the post needs to be updated, in this case, you can do research on that post and create your content using your own words.
You can take statistical information from websites mentioning the original source URL in your re-post. Minimize the similar content. If you like the post very much then you can put a summary of that post using original source URL with original author permission. You can copy the blog content but don’t publish it if you do then use ‘noindex meta tag’ to block from being indexed.
If you like the post, then you can click on ‘link to this post’ to add on your blog website which helps the author to get the backlink from your website. Another better idea is to share the post you liked and urging your readers to read it. You will be sending good traffic and be earning his goodwill.
